Varsha Salve (30 yrs) is married and has two children below 10. She lives in a village in Tulapur District and is below the poverty line. Varsha suffers from an aggressive form of Acute Myeloid Leukemia AML(M5) with Leptomemningial involvement. An appeal was made to Highways Infinite on Varsha’s behalf by Dr.Anupama Sen working in that area for Rs.5 Lakhs for treatment.
Dr.Ritu floated this appeal to the friends and wellwishers of Highways Infinite who helped raise Rs. 24000 in September-October 2009. As a result of the funds generated by this appeal, Varsha is now undergoing chemotherapy at Inlak Budrani Hospital.
